How to batch compress images

Compress dozens of images at once and download them all as a single ZIP.

Updated May 15, 2026

Add your images

Open the Batch Compress tool and drag in as many images as you like, or click to browse. They can be a mix of JPG, PNG and WebP. Each file appears as a row showing its original size; nothing is processed until you start.

Pick a quality level

Choose a quality setting that applies to the whole batch. Around 70–80% is the sweet spot for photos — a large size reduction with no visible loss in most cases. You can always re-run the batch at a different level if you want to compare.

Run and download

Start the job and watch the progress bar as each image is processed on a background thread. When it finishes, you'll see the total space saved across the batch. Click Download all (ZIP) to get every compressed image in one archive, packaged in your browser with JSZip.
