Privacy Policy

When you use any IMGifyx tool, your image is read directly by your browser and processed on your own device using the Canvas, File and Web Worker APIs. Your image data is never transmitted to IMGifyx or any third-party server. There is no upload step and no cloud processing.

Every operation — resize, compress, convert, crop, watermark, metadata removal, and so on — runs entirely client-side. The original and resulting images exist only in your browser's memory while you work and are discarded when you close or refresh the tab.

We do not collect, view, store, log, analyze, or share the contents of any image you process. Because nothing is uploaded, we have no copy of your files at any point.

IMGifyx uses your browser's LocalStorage to remember small, non-sensitive preferences such as your theme, default export quality and default output format. If you explicitly enable local history, a lightweight activity log (tool name, action, file count, timestamp) is stored locally in your browser only. None of this includes image contents.

You are always in control. Use the “Clear local data” button in the Workspace dashboard, or clear your browser's site data, to remove all stored preferences and history. This action is immediate and permanent.

We want to be unambiguous: IMGifyx does not collect image contents, metadata extracted from your images, or derivatives of your files. EXIF data you view in the metadata tool is read locally and never sent anywhere.

IMGifyx does not use external image-processing services, AI APIs, or cloud compression/conversion APIs. All capabilities are powered by your browser. Static assets (the app's code and styles) are served over a standard content delivery network, which may process routine technical request data such as IP address and user agent for security and delivery purposes.

The application functions without advertising cookies. Any privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics, if enabled in production, would measure page visits only and never image contents. See our Cookie Policy for details.

IMGifyx is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, as the app collects no personal data by design.
